This model was the second experimental car built by the Thomas B. Jeffery Company in Kenosha. Seated at the wheel is Charles T. Jeffery, the designer and son of the company's president. Note engine in front, left-hand drive, steering wheel.

This is the way automobiles were "road-tested" at the turn of the century. Billboard at right advertised Wisconsin State Fair September 9-13, 1901. This was the third experimental car built by the Jeffery company.
