Cascade Rambler Club Enjoying all American Motors automobile lines from 1958 to 1987
Who We Are
The Cascade Rambler Club celebrates the accomplishments of the American Motors Corporation and the line of distinctive and innovative automobiles AMC produced from 1958 through 1987. We are a chapter of the AMC Rambler Club, a national organization promoting the preservation and enjoyment of the Rambler, a line of automobiles produced by the American Motors Corporation between 1958 and 1969. Many of our members are also members of the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) and the Nash Car Club of America (NCCA). Our core membership area is in the state of Washington, from Seattle and its suburbs to the Canadian border, although we have members from as far away as Alaska and Montana. While members are welcome from any part of the world, our activities are based in our core area. Memberships are considered family memberships: spouses, significant others, parents and children are welcome at all events and meetings.
Cascade Ramblers recently welcomed into our membership AMC Northwest, a club devoted to AMC performance vehicles and other newer AMC lines, when they decided to cease operating as a separate club in early 2006. Many of its members were also members of Cascade Ramblers, and we had cooperated with them over the years in several meets and shows. We have scanned the AMC NW photo albums to produce an AMC NW Photo Archive. Please check out these beautiful cars!

Rendezvous 2008 Car Show - AMCRC National Meet
Our annual AMC car show will be held at the LeMay Auto Museum in Tacoma, WA,
on July 26, 2008. This year we are honored to host the national meet of the AMC Rambler Club (AMCRC). The theme of the show
is the 40th anniversary of the Javelin and AMX model lines. We have planned many special events starting on Thursday, July
24 and running through Sunday, July 27, including a pre-show picnic, tour, and an awards banquet with guest speaker, AMC
historian Larry Mitchell.
We hold ten meetings a year at various locations in King and Snohomish Counties. Every other month
the club meeting is combined with a "tech meeting," where our crack team of Shadetree
Mechanics goes over a new member's car, an old member's newly acquired car, dismantles a parts car,
or helps mechanically-challenged or tool-poor members make certain repairs. We sometimes participate
in parades, meets and cruises sponsored by other groups. We usually have a picnic in mid-summer, and
in December the club sponsors a holiday party at a member's home or at a restaurant. The club has a
stable core of dedicated members who can be relied on to turn out to most club activities. Our monthly
newsletter, The Weather-Eye News, has been published without interruption since 1990.
