Indigo Star Who We Are
The Cascade Rambler Club celebrates the accomplishments of the American Motors Corporation and the line of distinctive and innovative automobiles AMC produced from 1958 through 1987. We are a chapter of the AMC Rambler Club, a national organization promoting the preservation and enjoyment of the Rambler, a line of automobiles produced by American Motors between 1958 and 1969. Many of our members are also members of the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) and the Pacific Northwest Region of the Nash Car Club of America (NCCA). Our core membership area is in the Puget Sound region of the state of Washington, from Olympia through Seattle and its suburbs to the Canadian border. While we accept memberships from anywhere in the U.S. and Canada, our activities are based in our core area. Memberships are considered family memberships: spouses, significant others, parents and children are welcome at all events and meetings.

In 2006 Cascade Ramblers merged with the AMC Northwest Club, which was devoted primarily to AMC performance vehicles and other newer AMC lines, when they decided to cease operating as a separate club. Many of its members were also members of Cascade Ramblers, and we had cooperated with them over the years in several meets and shows. We have scanned the AMC NW photo albums into the AMC NW Photo Archive, as a memorial to this fine organization. Please check out these beautiful cars! If you have questions about club membership, please send e-mail to .

Blue Star What We Do
We hold ten meetings a year at various locations in King and Snohomish Counties. Every other month the club meeting is combined with a "tech meeting," where our crack team of Shadetree Mechanics goes over a new member's car, an old member's newly acquired car, dismantles a parts car, or helps mechanically-challenged or tool-poor members make certain repairs. We sometimes participate in parades, meets and cruises sponsored by other groups. We usually have a picnic in mid-summer, and in December the club sponsors a holiday party at a member's home or at a restaurant. The club has a stable core of dedicated members who can be relied on to turn out to most club activities. Our monthly newsletter, The Weather-Eye News, has been published without interruption since 1990.
